Cancer research lift

If anyone would like to come to this event, feel free to let me know at uni or just leave a comment here.
It's in Dartofrd next saturday, and along with tons of other epic events, i'll be attempting to squat 550lbs. for charity.
it should be a fun day, and if anyone would like to come along, just let me know.

PS. if you can't come but would like to make a donation, again, let me know and that can be arranged. Thanks guys n girls.

  1. Put me down for a donation, Elly - let me know how - oh, and don't break yourself... :-)

  2. i normally squat 650-700 in competition, but i'm off-season and as you say, don't want to break myself!
but thats brilliant Phil, Thank you, I'll get a copy of the donation 'thing' for friday.
as a whole, the event is looking at raising £6500 so far, which is absolutely amazing!

  3. I remember from the Sam Fussell autobiography that some of the weightlifters had to wear nappies when they were squatting... :-(

    Go easy!

  4. that because some of them, well most of them, were on and are on so much gear that their muscle fibers can move more than their body intends, thus resulting in some nasty side effects

  5. This all sounds gross! :(
But I'm up for a donation too...

  6. Hey Elly - you may have seen this already, but check out Bharathi's video reviews... an engaging and entertaining way of posting your observations...

  7. Elliot, don't forget you have to see Tracy Ashmore at 10.00 am tomorrow(Tuesday)
